Communication Access & Development
The Communication Access and Development Department at NMCDHH strives to improve the quality of communication access for deaf and hard of hearing citizens of New Mexico. We provide professional development opportunities for signed language interpreters; refer interpreters to other professional development opportunities; assist organizations with finding qualified interpreters; and work with other agencies and the community to develop additional resources for high-quality communication access.
